Risk Assessment

Risk Assessment Sheet

Title: The Catalyst
Writer: Joe, Connor and Michael
Producer: Connor Heather
Director: Michael
Date: Thur 6 Dec 2012
Major Issues:

Filming at: Dagenham chase
-          Public area, may be other people that we don’t want in the shot.
-          Mustn’t do anything that will get us in trouble, for example if were using a gun, we need to make sure that no member of the public feels threatened. Or they must know that what we are doing is fiction and made up.
-          We are going to check the area for any trip hazards, so when we film the chase scenes nobody is going to fall over and injure themselves.
-          Furthermore, we have someone in our crew  who is in charge of safety. For example, looking out for weather, traffic etc etc.
-          We will all have full charged mobile phones incase of emergency.
-          We will make sure a parent or guardian knows exactly where we are going.

Solutions:
-          We will tell people that we are filming and tell them not to ruin the shot. The space we are filming is confined anyway.
-          We will tell all members of the pubic that what we are doing is fiction, it is made up and that we are filming and acting as part of our studies at Robert Clack sixth form.
-          One person who isn’t acting will always be on the lookout for traffic, bad weather and any other obstacles that will get in our way.
