"North by Northwest"

Director:

Alfred Hitchcock

Writer:

Ernest Lehman

I have watched the film and i thought over all it was very good thriller which is characterised by fast pacing frequent action, i could just about keep up.

It was about an innocent New York advertising executive who is mistakenly identified as a government agent by a group of foreign spies. He's then pursued across the country looking for a way to survive.

There are many ways that "North by Northwest" is an archetypal thriller at is characterised by many fast paced and frequent action. For example the most famous scene of the hole film was the plane chase where Roger Thornhill (Cary Grant) was meant to meet Kaplan, however Kaplan does not appear and instead a airplane with a deploy-able machine gun attached to it, aiming and shooting at Thornhill (Cary Grant)
